(VOVworld)- The Vietnamese embassy in Ukraine organized a meeting to mark the 40^th anniversary of southern liberation and national reunification in Kiev on Friday.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Ukraine and Moldova Nguyen Minh Tri highlighted the importance of the Great Spring Victory on April 30^th, 1975 saying that the victory was greatly attributed to Vietnamese people’s revolutionary heroism and support from people around the world including the Ukrainians.

Tri said: “We forever remember sincere sentiment and support that Ukrainian people have for Vietnam. We always treasure our traditional friendship and cooperation. We greatly appreciate achievements of our bilateral ties and believe that with determination from both peoples, our traditional friendship will further develop”.
