(VOVworld) – The Party Committees of the Central Agencies convened its 4^th conference in Hanoi on Tuesday to review their performance in the first half and set tasks for the rest of the year.

Nguyen Quang Duong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies, said the international instability will continue to affect the domestic economy. Therefore, the Party Committees need to take prompt and effective measures to deal with the pending issues for continued socio-economic development. Mr. Duong underscored the implementation of the Party’s guidelines and resolutions: “It is necessary to improve the Party’s operation and intensify the fight against corruption and wastefulness. We should be consistent in defending national independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity. The Party Committees need to work out specific tasks for their own agencies and renew the ideological work and create consensus in the Party”.
