(VOVWORLD) -57 people, 41 of them in Quang Nam province, were injured by storm Noru, but no deaths had been reported as of Wednesday evening, according to the National Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control.

The storm completely demolished 94 houses and 3,300 homes had their roofs blown off. Most of the damaged houses were in Quang Ngai and Quang Nam province.
Approximately 1,300 hectares of crops were damaged by the storm. More than 3,000 cattle and poultry were killed or swept away.
Landslides occurred on national highways and local roads, and 4 bridges were swept away.
Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) said Wednesday that it has repaired all 110-, 220-, and 500-kV transmission lines and stations damaged by Noru, and restored power to 90% of the customers who lost power during the storm.
In localities affected by Noru, emergency teams are helping citizens repair the storm damage and re-stabilize their lives. Chairman of Quang Nam provincial People's Committee Le Tri Thanh and sector representatives went on Wednesday to several coastal localities to inspect the damage, direct recovery efforts, and encourage families affected by the storm.
