(VOVWORLD) - 300 travelers from the EU stranded in Vietnam due to the COVID-19 pandemic flew back to Frankfurt, Germany, early Wednesday, after the first flight had carried 300 Europeans to Frankfurt on Monday.

Both flights were financed by the German government.
The Wednesday flight also carried made-in-Vietnam anti-bacterial masks, a gift from the Vietnamese government and people, to help people in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and Britain fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
