(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s Embassy in the Czech Republic organized a gala dinner in Prague to celebrate the 67th anniversary of Vietnamese-Czech diplomatic relations and welcome to Lunar New Year 2017.

Ambassador Truong Manh Son said bilateral relations had improved broadly in politics, economiocs, and culture. Bilateral trade revenues in 2016 reached 1 billion USD, an increase of 22% compared with that in 2015. Vietnam Airlines is planning direct flights between Vietnam and the Czech Republic. Ambassador Son said: “On the 67th anniversary of dipl;omatic relations, we’d like to show more of Vietnam to the Czech people and politicians. This year’s goal is diplomacy to serve economic cooperation and bilateral relations in general.”
Czech’s Deputy Foreign Minister Lukas Kaucky said the Czech Republic would share its experience in economic reform and simplify visa entry procedures for Vietnamese people.
