80 percent of administrative procedures to be posted on e-portal in 2018
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam is ready to officially connect to the ASEAN One-Stop-Shop Mechanism as soon as the protocol on a legal framework for the system becomes effective, according to a meeting of the National Steering Committee for National and ASEAN One-Stop-Shop Mechanisms and Trade Facilitation in Hanoi on Tuesday, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue.

Currently, nine ASEAN members have approved the protocol. Deputy Prime Minister Hue said trade facilitation should go along with fighting trade fraud. Mr. Hue urged that at least 80 percent of administrative procedures be posted on the e-portal. The Deputy Prime Minister said IT is an important tool but it is essential to consider safety and security, and he stressed the need to make the public businesses aware if the one-stop-shop administrative procedures available on the national e-portal.
