Dak Lak authorities visited and congratulated the Vietnam News Agency bureau in Buon Ma Thuot city, where Y Bier Nie, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party committee, praised the Agency for spreading Party and State guidelines and policies. He called the press a useful medium for expressing people’s desires and aspirations and boosting socio-economic development.

Tan Buu, Deputy Chairman of the Dong Thap province People’s Committee, acknowledged the efforts by media agencies to communicate Party and State policies and called for greater involvement in local socio-economic growth.

The same day, Hau Giang held a get-together to mark Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day and announce the provincial press awards. Deputy Chairman Nguyen Van Tuan praised the role of journalists and the press in provincial development.
