The meeting on measures to respond to Doksuri storm

Director of the meteorological center Hoang Duc Cuong told a meeting of the National Steering Committee on Disaster Prevention and Control on Wednesday that Doksuri is forecasted to strike the mainland at level 4, a level below the highest category

Head of the National Steering Committee Nguyen Xuan Cuong asked relevant agencies to update information for people to actively respond to the storm to minimize damage. They were urged to promptly inform ships operating on the sea of the location and development of the storm so that they can move out of dangerous areas. Coastal provinces from Quang Ninh to Binh Dinh are asked to ensure the safety of people, infrastructure and production, in addition to protecting the environment and health of locals in areas affected by storms and floods.
