Activities underway to ensure a Happy Tet to people nationwide
(VOVWORLD) - More than 58,000 employees in Ho Chi Minh City have received Tet gifts worth more than 22 billion VND (968,000 USD).

Donors and 230 enterprises have bought 11,000 tickets worth 7.7 billion VND (338,000 USD) for workers to help them return home for Tet. The Ho Chi Minh City Student Culture House organized a program to bring a warm Tet atmosphere for students who live away from home. At the program, more than 300 poor students were presented with Tet gifts.
A similar program in Hai Duong province raised more than 10 billion VND (440,000 USD) to help the poor.
Thai Nguyen province provided 12 billion dong (528,000 USD) to 36 specially disadvantaged communes in the program to bring local people with a warm Tet.
