(VOVworld) - A suicide bomber has killed 20 people at a police headquarters in the Afghan capital Kabul. At least 29 others were wounded in the blast in the west of the city, the interior ministry said. The attacker joined people queuing to get into the police station and detonated his explosives. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement that said 40 police officers had been killed or wounded. Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani strongly condemned the attack. Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement condemning terrorism in any form and extending condolences to the victims’ families.
