(VOVWORLD) - Afghanistan will hold an international conference on peace, security and reconciliation next Tuesday in the wake of the Taliban’s annual spring offensive which killed hundreds of people, including security officers.

According to ANI news agency, among 20 attendees will be the United States, India, Saudi Arabia, China, and the European Union.
Zardasht Shams, deputy head of the mission at the Afghan Embassy in Pakistan, said the Kabul Process meeting will be held by the instructions of the President to merge various processes or meetings on Afghanistan under one umbrella. He added that anti-terrorism cooperation will be one of the key issues discussed at the conference.
