(VOVworld) - A conference on agricultural restructuring to adapt to climate change was held in Hanoi Tuesday. Representatives agreed that restructuring is one of the most important paths to sustainable agricultural development, but that in the long term, agricultural restructuring must be in align with other measures to cope with climate change, drought, and salinity.

Water resources should be managed systematically. Intelligent agriculture development focuses on 3 pillars: ensuring regional food security, improving the ability to fight climate change, and minimizing the negative effects of climate change.
The conference was co-hosted by Today Agriculture News, the Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
