Air passengers from Republic of Korea quarantined in Quang Ninh, Can Tho
(VOVWORLD) - A Vietjet Air plane carrying nearly 230 Vietnamese citizens and foreign tourists from the Republic of Korea landed Sunday afternoon at Van Don international airport in the northern border city of Quang Ninh.

All passengers were in good health but were taken to isolation facilities for 14 days of quarantine. Dang Huy Hau, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee said: “The transport sector in coordination with other agencies has taken steps to ensure transport flow. Grassroots units and the health sector immediately prepared facilities and personnel to receive people from infected areas.”
On Sunday, Can Tho city received 3 flights carrying more than 600 passengers, including 85 returning from Daegu and North Gyeongsang, the 2 Covid-19 epicenters in the Republic of Korea. All passengers were quarantined at a military school in Can Tho city.
