As planned, military parade will take place on May 7 at Dien Bien Provincial Stadium involving the army, militia and self-defense force, police, and the mass. Nine helicopters carrying the Party and the National flags will fly over the main stage.

The parade will reaffirm the great historical value of the Dien Bien Phu Victory and the continuous development of the People’s Army of Vietnam.

They will publicly educate the people on the importance of patriotism and revolutionary traditions and inspire pride and gratitude for those who sacrificed their lives to liberate the nation, and to build and protect the Fatherland.
