Goudjil made the statement at a meeting with Vietnamese Ambassador to Algeria Pham Quoc Tru, who came to bid farewell at the end of his tenure.
Lauding the efforts made by the diplomat and his contributions to bilateral ties, Goudjil noted that the two nations have exchanged a few delegations in recent years and their collaboration in various fields remains modest, falling short of the sides’ potential and traditional political relations. Goudjil hoped that Vietnam and Algeria will strengthen their multifaceted cooperation.
Tru said Vietnam always values its friendship and close collaboration with Algeria, and is hoping to push the ties to a new height.
