(VOVworld) – Al-Qaeda’s Syrian affiliate Al-Nusra Front has executed 14 captured members of the Syrian army.

A video distributed via the group’s social media shows 14 men, many with injuries, stating their names as they line up in pairs in front of the group’s black flag. The footage shows the men being shot in the head simultaneously as they kneel in front of Al-Nusra fighters.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that in an earlier video Al-Nusra had threatened to execute prisoners if government forces entered Harira.
