(VOVworld) – Angolan President Josse Eduardo dos Santos has praised Vietnam’s achievements in its renewal process, national construction and defense, and improved status in the international arena.
The Angolan head of state made the statement at a recent reception for Vietnamese Ambassador Do Ba Khoa who is at the end of his three-year term in Angola.
President Eduardo dos Santos reiterated the friendship, solidarity, and cooperation with Vietnam, adding that the Angolan government and the MPLA ruling Party want to deep the bilateral relations in all fields of mutual concerns.
He called on both countries to proactively prepare for the inter-government committee meeting scheduled for November and activities in anticipation of the 40th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between Angola and Vietnam.
