(VOVWORLD) -The 13th Party Central Committee convened its 6th conference from Monday to Saturday in Hanoi, to give opinions on the Politburo's proposals, projects and reports on key issues and Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong delivered important opening and closing speeches.

The Party Central Committee carefully discussed and contributed profound, specific and comprehensive opinions to the reports on the socio-economic situation and the state budget in 2022; socio-economic development plan, state budget estimate in 2023; the three-year state budget financial plan from 2023 to 2025; and plan to adjust salary, pension, social insurance allowance and preferential allowance for people with meritorious services in 2023.
The Committee considered the national master plan for the period of 2021 - 2030 with a vision to 2050 as a momentous political task of strategic, fundamental and long-term significance. It required the master plan to clearly and correctly define the guiding viewpoints and ideas as well as the main goals and targets to give priority to the formation of the national infrastructure framework; and to develop economic corridors along the North-South axis and the East-West axis.
The Party Central Committee affirmed that the process of building and completing the Project on continuing to build and perfect the socialist rule-of-law State of Vietnam in the new period was methodically, elaborately and democratically prepared.
The Committee gave opinions on personnel so that the Politburo will recommend the National Assembly to elect and approve the titles of State Auditor General, Minister of Health, and Minister of Transport in the 4th meeting of the 15th National Assembly.
The Party Central Committee called on the entire Party, people and army to strengthen solidarity and unity, striving to overcome difficulties and challenges to achieve the set targets for 2022 and the following years; effectively implement the resolutions and conclusions of the 6th Conference of the Party Central Committee, strive to realize the socio-economic development plan in 2023 and contribute to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
