(VOVworld) – Another 224 Vietnamese workers will be transported to Vietnam from Libya on Wednesday and Thursday by 8 flights from Cairo International Airport.

Do Xuan Chien, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Manpower Supply and Commercial Joint Stock Company (Vinamex) said this would be the last evacuation, transporting the remaining of total 682 workers from Vinamex, Huyndai E&C companies. Earlier, the Vietnamese ambassador to Libya, Dao Duy Tien, said that up to Tuesday, 1,024 Vietnamese workers had left Libya for Vietnam, while another 500 will return to Vietnam within a few days. The Vietnamese embassy is persuading employers there to evacuate the rest of their workers to Vietnam.
