(VOVworld) - Officials from the United States and Cuba have met in Havana to discuss migration agreements the two nations signed in 1994 and 1995.
The meeting took place in a constructive spirit and produced a number of positive outcomes. This has been the second meeting since January 2011 where both countries weighed the implementation of the migration agreements
According to international observers, the US-Cuba relations have been warmed up since President Barack Obama took office for his second term. The two governments have shown their sincere attitude during recent diplomatic contacts, including the symbolized handshake between President Barack Obama and President Raul Castro in South Africa in last December at the funeral for South African former President Nelson Mandela.
