Another Vietnamese officer assigned peacekeeping duty in South Sudan
(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Minister of National Defence Nguyen Chi Vinh on Wednesday relayed the President’s order for another officer to report for duty to the UN peacekeeping mission in South Sudan.

Lieut. Colonel Nguyen Kim Tinh of the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations will replace Major Do Thi Hang Nga, who has returned home after finishing a one-year tour as a commanding officer in South Sudan.
Colonel Tinh was trained at the Army Officer College No.1. He also has a master’s degree in criminal investigation from the People's Security Academy.
