(VOVworld)- On Tuesday, a conference to review 10 years of implementing the Anti-Corruption Law took place in Hanoi. Delegates at the conference emphasized the results of the fight against corruption.

They agreed on the importance of the involvement of the whole political system and the public in combating corruption. Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh said: “The cause of national construction and defense is facing numerous challenges including corruption. Corruption is eroding the people’s trust in the Party and the regime, creating the conflicts of interest, and increasing the gap between the rich and the poor. The conference will make important recommendations on fine-tuning the anti-corruption law to submit to the National Assembly for approval”.
