(VOVworld) – Thousands of anti-government protesters took to the streets in Bangkok on Saturday asking for Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to resign.

The protestors reaffirmed their demand that Ms.Yingluck transfer power to an interim council which was appointed to work out measures on anti-corruption reform. The demonstration took place after the waves of street marching to protest the government temporarily calm down and in the context of increasing concern about the violence between supporters and opponents to Ms. Yingluck who refused to resign.
