Ao Dai’s festival takes place in Ho Chi Minh City
(VOVWORLD) - More than 3,000 women took part in a performance called ‘I love Ao Dai’ at Nguyen Hue pedestrian street on Sunday morning, as part of the 5th Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival 2018.

Themed “The Graceful Ao dai of Ho Chi Minh City”, the festival opened on Saturday night with a fashion show presenting 14 collections of Ao Dai by famous designers. Bui Ta Hoang Vu, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Toursim Department, and chief organizer said: “This is the 5th time that Ho Chi Minh City has hosted Ao Dai festival. We have invited famous designers, models, and producers to the event. The festival also attracts numerous participants from schools and local agencies.”
The festival will run to March 26th with a wide range of activities including a forum on the beauty of Ao Dai, and an art program on the trend of Ao Dai’s design in 2018.
