(VOVworld) – A 2-day international scientific seminar entitled “Assessment of damages of Agent Orange/dioxin used by the US during the war in Vietnam” closed in Hanoi on Tuesday.

The seminar called on countries to focus on the studies and ways to ease the toxin’s consequences. Participating scientists, managers, social activists, and victims called on the US government and chemical companies to accept and fulfill their responsibility for the Agent Orange/dioxin consequences.
The seminar released and exchanged scientific research projects, which continue to clarify the heavy consequences of the toxin to the environment and people’s health.
