(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh on Wednesday applauded the contributions of the Asian Peace and Reconciliation Council (APRC) in helping Asian governments settle disputes peacefully and maintain regional peace and stability.
At a reception hosted by Minh, APRC Chairman Surakiart Sathiratha advocated Vietnam’s peaceful settlement of the East Sea issue. He promised continued contributions by APRC, as an independent international non-government organization, to promote reconciliation and peacefully resolve disputes in Asia in general and in the East Sea in particular, on the basis of international law.
