(VOVWORLD) - Argentina’s e-newspaper OJODIGITAL ran an article this week praising Vietnam’s success in controlling the spread of COVID-19.

The article said that for three months the novel coronavirus has been lashing the health systems of many countries around the world, but Vietnam, which lies near the first epicenter of the disease, has been a model for fighting COVID-19.
As of April 10, Vietnam had 257 confirmed infections, with 144 patients fully recovered, and no fatalities, the paper reported.
Vietnam’s success has been applauded by other countries and international organizations, the article said, noting that Vietnam has been cooperating with other countries and has sent protective gear to Italy, Spain, Germany, France, the UK, Laos, and Cambodia.
