Art exchange program highlights Vietnam-Russia friendship
(VOVWORLD) - An art exchange program to mark the 100th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution was held on Sunday night in Hanoi by the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and the Russian Embassy in Vietnam.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and National Assembly Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu were among the attendees. The program entitled “October songs echo” featured the path from the October Revolution through art performances and documentaries which recreated the historical period 100 years ago.
Phan Quang Minh, who studied in Russia for many years, said: “This program connects Vietnamese and Russians. It recalled my youth in Russia and the feelings of Russians, especially Russian teachers toward Vietnamese students.”
Russian Ambassador to Vietnam Konstantin Vnukov said: “Vietnam is one of the most important partners of Russia in the Asia-Pacific region. Our relationship is largely built on the October Revolution. We have two important missions: building a good foundation for economic, trade and investment cooperation and passing down our fruitful friendship to the next generation.”
