(VOVworld) – The ASEAN Business Council involving 55 major enterprises will make its debut at the World Economic Forum on the Mekong (WEF – Mekong).

At a press conference in Hanoi on Tuesday, Justin Wood, chief representative of the forum in Asia-Pacific, said the organization aims to boost public and private cooperation in ASEAN’s most urgent areas.
The council will focus on cooperation in the construction of infrastructure, the enhancement of intra investment, trade, the development of a digital technology-based economy, and job generation in the region. The council will also implement a series of initiatives for the future, including a program to build strategic infrastructure.
