(VOVworld)-Vietnamese Embassies in Bulgaria and Finland have organized ceremonies to raise the ASEAN flag adjacent to Vietnam’s national flags in celebration of the 45^th ASEAN founding anniversary and 17 years of Vietnam’s admission to the association. Speaking at the ceremony this week, Vietnamese Ambassador to Bulgaria, Tran Van Thinh, said the ceremony represented Vietnam and ASEAN’s commitment towards the building of an ASEAN Community by 2015. It will help promote the image of ASEAN and its community in the world. The ceremony in Finland was jointly held by the Vietnamese and Indonesian embassies to praise the ASEAN as an active organization with important role to play in the region and the world.
