By Thursday noon Vietnamese disabled swimmers won 15 gold medals, 2 more than their initial target of 13 gold medals.

Taking place between July 30 and August 6 in Surakarta Indonesia, the 2022 ASEAN Para Games features 14 sports with 907 competition events and 1,286 athletes.
Vietnam's 153-member delegation is competing in 8 events: athletics, swimming, weightlifting, badminton, table tennis, chess, judo, and archery and targets to win 35 to 40 gold medals.
