(VOVworld) – The third ASEAN-EU Business Summit will begin in Hanoi next Friday.

At a press briefing in Hanoi today, Vu Tien Loc, President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that the two-day event will discuss the agricultural economy, the auto industry, financial services, IT, infrastructure, and pharmaceuticals.Loc noted "at the summit, policy makers and business officials will talk about business challenges and investment cooperation opportunities between the two regions and work out proposals to the governments and specific action plans for the business communities. A business-to-business meeting will also be held as part of the event to exchange specific business opportunities.’

About 600 delegates are expected to attend the summit.
