(VOVworld) – 30 students from 17 Asian countries will compete at the 4th Asian Contest of Architectural Rookies Award 2015, which opened in HCM city on Saturday.

The contest is aimed at promoting different styles of Asian and western architecture. Tran Thi Hong, Vice Principal of the Nguyen Tat Thanh University, a representative of the organizing board, said: “We hope that the contest will be a playground for Vietnamese architecture students to demonstrate their talent. It also provides an opportunity for Vietnamese students to exchange ideas with their peers from other countries.”
