At least 10 killed in supermarket mass shooting in New York, US

(VOVWORLD) - At least 10 people were shot dead on Saturday at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York. Four of the victims were store employees and the remainders were customers.
City and federal officials are calling the shooting a racially motivated hate crime. Among the 13 victims shot, 11 were African American and two were white, authorities said.
The mass shooting occurred in a Black neighborhood of upstate New York, which is located just a few kilometers from the center of town.
The suspect was identified as Payton Gendron who was being questioned Saturday evening by the FBI.
