(VOVworld) – At least 3 people have been wounded in a bombing near the US embassy in Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul. The explosion occurred at 9 a.m local time in the main square, Ahmad Shah Massoud.

The bomb was attached to a military vehicle in an area where Afghanistan’s Supreme Court and the US embassy are situated. The wounded victims were taken to the nearby hospital. Security forces have blockaded the site. No group claimed responsibility for the bombing, but the Taliban have stepped up attacks across Afghanistan.
