(VOVworld) – EU members’ trade unions on Wednesday launched fresh protest against the widespread austerity measures which have been considered the cause of European deeper sinking into economic recession.

Around 130 anti-austerity marches took place in France’s major cities like Paris, Marseille, and Lille. French Trade Union leader Francois Chereque said: Europeans have seen a downgraded economy, a rising unemployment rate, thus more difficulties in people life due to numerous austerity measures. We need to step up economic recovery process and give Greece, Spain, and Portugal more time to resolve their government debts.
