(VOVworld) – Australia will cooperate with Southeast Asian nations to fight terrorism and extremism. At a two-day counter-terrorism financing summit in Sydney on Tuesday, Australian Minister for Justice Michael Keenan stressed the importance of sharing information on terrorism financing.

He said shutting down sources of terrorism financing will boost the national security of Australia and other countries. Minister Keenan will visit Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines to promote intelligence sharing to fight the IS.
