Australia seeks hi-tech agriculture link with Mekong Delta
(VOVWORLD) - The Australian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and the Can Tho Department of Agriculture and Rural Development on Monday discussed cooperation opportunities in hi-tech agriculture.

Cao Thi Thanh of the Consulate General urged the two sides to boost bilateral cooperation in hi-tech agriculture. She said Australia is seeking cooperation opportunities with the Mekong Delta in technology and human resources training for the agricultural sector.
Vietnam invites Australia to conduct fact-finding trips and introduce new machines that will make post-harvest processing more efficient, enhance produce quality, boost farmers’ incomes, and help Vietnamese farm produce conform to the Global Good Agricultural Practices (GlobalGAP).
