Under the 3-year memorandum, Autodesk committed to provide Vietnam’s institutions and schools with free learning courses and computer labs, organize free training courses for educators, and grant certificates for students. Students and educators would have free access to resources through an online portal entitled “autodesk.com”. Tran Quang Quy, Deputy Minister of Education and Training, said: "We hope that the Department of Students' Affairs will enhance the communication with the public, so, more students can get access to the software. We also ask Autodesk, Inc to quickly implement the memorandum to support Vietnamese educators and students in using the software effectively."
Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training will introduce Autodesk to students through its education portal, guiding them on how to register for courses and download the resources. The ministry will also enable access to established industry processes such as Building Information Modelling, Digital Entertainment Creation, Digital Prototyping, and Sustainable Design.
