The President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan urged ethnic minority people and farmers to strive to escape poverty and develop their economy. He asked the Fatherland Front’s branches and local administrations to support ethnic people is implementing effective measures to reduce the number of poor households and promote local advantages in tourism, husbandry, and growing fruit. Bac Giang province should strengthen national defense and social security in ethnic communities and enhance unity among ethnic groups, he added.
