(VOVworld)-Bac Lieu province should focus on aquaculture to become Vietnam’s shrimp farming hub, said Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong during a just-concluded tour of the Mekong Delta province.

Mr. Trong urged Bac Lieu to develop the marine economy, offshore fishing and clean energy, and ensure national sea and island sovereignty. He said Party building and effective implementation of Party resolutions are the key to achieving socio-economic targets. On Sunday, the Party leader visited a greenhouse-enclosed superintensive shrimp production model and the Bac Lieu wind power project.
