Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina concludes her official visit to Vietnam

(VOVworld)-Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina concluded her official visit to Vietnam on Saturday. Earlier, she laid wreaths at the monument of heroic martyrs and the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum in Hanoi. The Prime Minister participated at the Vietnam Bangladesh Business Forum and visited Bai Dinh Pagoda in Ninh Binh province.

On Friday, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has highlighted Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasinass visit as an important milestone in the traditional friendship and all-round cooperation between the two countries. During their meeting, Sheikh Hasina expressed Bangladesh’s determination to enhance cooperation with Vietnam in economics, trade, agriculture, culture and national defense. She said she hopes that the two sides will promote exchanges between the two parliaments, businesses and peoples, as well as further increase coordination at regional and international fora. At the reception for the Bangladeshi Prime Minister on the same day, President Truong Tan Sang said that Vietnam is willing to share its experience in the development and integration process with Bangladesh. Hasina thanked Vietnam for supporting Bangladesh’s bid to join ASEM forum and conveyed the Bangladeshi President’s invitation to visit the country to President Sang.
