Addressing “Digital transformation day of the banking sector” in Hanoi on Thursday, the Prime Minister called for better infrastructure in payment and credit information infrastructure for stronger connectivity between banks and credit organisations and other sectors. 

“Given the State Bank of Vietnam and credit institutions’ concerted efforts and innovation in digital transformation reflected in today’s Digital Transformation Day as well as joint efforts by ministries and provinces, the national digital transformation will create overarching positive changes to realize the national digital transformation program by 2025 towards 2030,” PM Chinh said.

The Prime Minister also called for more training and capacity building for banking staff to better serve the public and business community.
