The agency said the number of cyberattacks on information systems in Vietnam in October was recorded at 204, a decrease of nearly 80% compared to the same period last year. Over the past eight months, cyber incidents targeting Vietnamese systems have been decreasing, indicating improved awareness and proactive measures by domestic organizations and businesses regarding information security.
The Authority of Information Security recommended three main solutions, namely planning effective responses, allocating sufficient investment in information security, and regularly practicing response plans. Organizations should develop a comprehensive information security plan that includes monitoring, protection, and system recovery measures, it suggested.
