(VOVworld) – Belgium will command the European Union Battle Group (EUBG) – the EU’s quick-reaction force for within 6 months starting from July.

This the second time the EUBG has been in the command of Belgium since 2009. The force has concluded its 10-day exercise at Belgium’s Roi Balbert de March-en-Famenne barracks with the participation of representatives from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the EU. The quick-reaction force EUBG will be deployed within 15 days and operate within the radius of 6,000 kilometers from Brussels.
