National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan at the national congress of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations in Hanoi.

Ngan said various Party guidelines and State policies have been institutionalized to facilitate arts and literature, including the Laws on Cinematography, Cultural Heritages, Intellectual Property, Press and Publication.

'The Party and the State always listen to and absorb appropriate critics and contribution by the arts and literature workers in national construction and defense. The Union should timely reflect on artists and writers’ aspiration, wishes, opinions and critics and update them with major guidelines and polices by the Party and the State,' said Ngan.
