At a conference in Hanoi on Tuesday of the Vietnam National Committee for the Elderly, Mr. Dam asked the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Vietnam Elderly Association, and related agencies to design continuous learning programs for the elderly and encourage them to explain the law at public education centers. The Deputy Prime Minister stressed the importance of honoring enterprises, social organizations, and individuals with outstanding contributions to implementing elderly support policies and making public buildings elderly-friendly.
