Boao Forum for Asia opens to discuss globalization and free trade

The four-day 2017 BFA conference is themed as "Globalization and Free Trade: The Asian Perspectives". With the rising trend of de-globalization, a more inclusive globalization is determined as the prime topic of this year's conference which will conclude on Sunday. A total of 1,800 representatives from over 50 countries and regions attended the forum. More than 70 percent of attendees are from business circles, with 32 presidents or CEOs of Fortune Global 500 companies among the guests. The conference this year has been divided into four modules -- globalization, growth, reform and new economy.
