(VOVWORLD) - A book launching and photo exhibition on sea and islands has opened in Hanoi to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the National Day on September 2.

On display are 100 latest photos about activities in Truong Sa Archipelago and the DK 1 rig house. A relevant book by journalist, writer Lu Mai and engineer Tran Thanh made its debut on this occasion.
A program to present mid-autumn festival gifts to children of soldiers and staff on duty of shore was launched.
