(VOVworld) – A Book Street was opened on Monday at Le Thach street and Ly Thai To flower garden in downtown Ha Noi with the aims of promoting reading habit and creating more cultural spaces for local people during the Lunar New Year festival.

25 decorated stalls are erected, displaying publications by popular domestic publishing houses, companies, and press agencies. Visitors are treated to a wide variety of books and gifts for the Lunar New Year.
Pham Hai Phong, a student of Thang Long high school, said: “I find book fair like this very helpful, offering different types of books and creating a joyous spring atmosphere. I’ve just bought a book about student time which is very close to my real life”.
The book street will open until next Thursday.
